Australian Shiraz Super Six - pre-order
Bananas. Bonkers. Absurd. All valid words to describe how quickly the first shipment of this showcase sold out.
But not to worry. Our Aussie buyer Ben Cohn has worked his magic and secured you a second shipment, due for delivery in mid-August.
Reserve your case for just £30 ... before it sells out again.
It's no surprise this was such a massive hit ...
Meet the Shiraz Super Six
- Pirramimma Hartfell Shiraz 2022 (worth £80) – Thanks to 130-year-old vines, the Johnstons make Shiraz of remarkable power and intensity – heaving with plum, black cherry and dark chocolate.
- Martins Vineyards Shiraz 2021 (worth £85) – From McLaren Vale stars the Curtis family, this delivers lashings of smooth, black, spice-laden fruit.
- Schild Estate Three Springs Single Vineyard Shiraz 2021 (worth £100) – From low-yielding vines in the estate’s high-altitude Three Springs vineyard in Barossa, this is a mightily concentrated Shiraz.
- Ulithorne Singularis Shiraz 2021 (worth £95) – 97-point Singularis comes from grapes grown on the estate’s original McLaren Vale vineyard, from vines over 70 years old.
- Chateau Yaldara 1847 Grand Pappy’s Shiraz 2021 (worth £180) – Chateau Yaldara is an Australian icon – and this is their top release, with two 97-point scores. A powerhouse of opulence and concentration.
- Cape Barren Rare Bird Shiraz 2020 (worth £80) – Another 97-point superstar release, this is the prestige cuvée of Trophy-winning winemaker Rob Dundon. Chockful of cassis and chocolate.
They all boast years of ageing and are ready to drink, but they will improve over decades too. Just £30 reserves your case of 6. When the wine arrives mid-August the second payment will be automatically deducted from your account. Note: this will be in huge demand, so it's strictly limited to two cases of 6 or one case of 12 per customer.
