The Story Behind the Bottle
Laurent Perrier is one of the finest names of Champagne. Established in 1812 by Alphonse Pierlot and sold to the Nonancourt family in 1939, it has since earned a place amongst the most famous Grandes Marques Champagnes. Today, it remains the largest family-owned house in the region. La Cuvée is Laurent Perrier’s finely crafted non-vintage fizz. Recently, it has been reblended, increasing the proportion of Chardonnay for added creamy finesse, and Reserve wines for extra layers of toasty complexity. It was delicious before; now it’s even more delectable with grapes taken from 100 Cru plots. A classy fizz with fine mousse and rich layers of persistent flavour, presented in a gift box.
