Creative Block is one of Spier's premium range of wines and celebrates the estate's support for local artists. This is the white flaghip of the series and combines the best Sauvignon and Sémillon grapes from four of the estate's finest vineyards. They're all located at altitudes of more than 200m and cooled by the Western Cape's ocean breezes - absolutely perfect for growing pristine, ripe and zesty Sauvignon and Sémillon. Made by multi award-winning Jacques Erasmus, this is an absolute masterpiece. Lots of gooseberry, lemon, lime and tropical fruit flavours, hints of asparagus and a cool, mineral finish. Elegant and utterly delicious, Creative Block 2 deserves pride of place at dinner, alongside the finest seafood or squash risotto.
