Chemin du Belvédère Blanc 2021
Humble Vin de France on the label, but much more than that in the glass. It's pure luscious Marsanne from the top northern Rhône producer, Cave de Tain, and includes exceptional quality grapes. Ripe apricot, creamy citrus and blossom delicious!
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

The Story Behind the Bottle
We've been buying from the northern Rhône's renowned Cave de Tain for 50 years now, a cellar described by critic, Jeb Dunnuck, as "one of the finest co-ops in the world." Most of their wines are from the top appellations Hermitage, Crozes, Cornas and the like, with £60 per bottle price tags to go with it. The secret white grape behind all those famous name villages is the surprisingly little-known Marsanne that can produce wines with sublime tropical fruit, lemon and blossom notes with a mineral edge. You'll find all that and more in the luscious, mouthfilling Chemin du Belvédère. The grapes were taken from parcels in the area around Hermitage, to give you a real taste of the Grand Vin. Chill gently – it's a star with roast chicken.
