A parcel of top-class Pinot Noir from a renowned Cape winery with a 340-year-history. But rest assured this is the real deal on Boschendal Appellation Series Elgin Pinot Noir 2023.
The reason is simple. This parcel was destined for the US market but when tariffs kicked in over the summer, the order was cancelled at the last minute. We’ve sold this wine (at full price) for years, so we were Boschendal’s first port of call. Could we help? Of course we could! We only have 250 cases in total, so you’ll need to act fast to secure your share.
From Elgin, South Africa’s coolest wine region famed for its elegant wines, this is pure Pinot pleasure. Full of succulent wild berry fruit with hints of herbs and oaky spice. Sleek, smooth and so delicious you could happily drink this on its own, but it will easily stand up to your roast turkey too. More than a match for Burgundy at this price.
