The family is renowned for the quality of their winemaking – firstly for world-class vintage port, one of which was rated among the greatest wines of the last century. Plus, they've led the field in Douro table wines.
For Vilarissa Valley, the team source grapes from the high Alto Douro for peerless levels of richness and concentration. The result is a deep wine with gorgeous richness and finished in port barrels for extra spice. A classic red that pairs perfectly with steak and frites or a rich stew.
