A UNIQUE VINEYARD AND A FINE ENGLISH SPARKLING WINE

Windsor Great Park Vineyard is a superb site for producing English Quality Sparkling Wine at the heart of this Royal Park. Its discovery is a long (and charming) story that resulted in the planting of this 3-hectare plot in 2011, with the permission of the Duke of Edinburgh, the official Ranger for the Park. Ideal soils, exposure to the sun, with slopes leading down to Great Meadow Pond … all near-perfect conditions, bar perhaps the grape-thirsty parakeets that perch in nearby oak trees. We had the best in the business advising us and the outcome has been an award-winning fizz that has received critical acclaim from the press worldwide.
