Founded in 2010, Windsor & Eton Brewery brought brewing back to Windsor after an 80-year absence, setting out to create beers fit for a town steeped in royal and military history. Their flagship Guardsman Best Bitter (4.2% ABV) is a proud nod to tradition, inspired by the iconic red tunics of the Windsor Guards. Brewed with Maris Otter pale malt and classic English hops (Pilgrim, Styrian Golding, Fuggles), it pours a rich copper colour with aromas of caramel, biscuit and a gentle earthy lift. Guardsman has collected multiple awards at CAMRA festivals and international competitions and remains the brewery’s best-known beer – a true session bitter that celebrates both heritage and drinkability.
