Tullibardine 225 Sauternes Cask Finish Single Malt Whisky NV
This is fine Tullibardine Highland Single Malt with a difference. First aged in former bourbon casks, it spent the last few months in Sauternes barriques. The result is a luscious creamy edge and touch of tropical fruit to the mellow malty whisky.

The Spirit
Tullibardine can boast a history back to 1488. That was when Scotland's young King James IV stopped by before his Coronation to purchase some of the famous beer. 15 years later the same king granted them a royal charter. Brewing and now distilling excel here thanks to the quality of the water. It comes from the nearby Ochil hills, once known for gold, but now appreciated for the purity of the water. A distillery was built on the same site in 1947 by Willem Delmé Evans. Today it remains in family hands. Quality is paramount in all they do. Only first-fill casks are used – nearly all ex-bourbon, but here they explore exciting new flavours by finishing the malt in first-fill Sauternes barrels. Equally delicious solo or as part of a cocktail.
