The Times and The Sunday Times have faithfully recorded the stories of the day for centuries. So, we wanted each Times Exclusive Collection wine to tell a unique story, give added insight into a classic region and offer extra in the glass. Introducing Times Exclusive Claret. It's from Castillon, the appellation that sits on the same limestone plateau as neighbouring illustrious Saint-Émilion. Same terroir, same richness, depth and finesse, but more attractively priced. Castillon was also the site of the final battle of the 100 Years War – captured by cartoonist Russel Herneman on the bottle label. This is a supple claret from a top vintage, with dark berry fruit, creaminess and spice. A wine chosen as carefully as our words.
