The Patriots Malbec 2025

Malbec is Argentina’s claim to fame, Carmenère is Chile’s, right? Not so fast. Meet The Patriots Malbec – a bright, silky red wine from Chile’s four-time ‘Winery of the Year’.
Chile was growing Malbec even before Argentina, and recently a few hectares of 140-year-old vines were discovered, making them the oldest known Malbec plantings in the world. Chile only grows a fraction of what its neighbour does, but boy is it good!
Named in honour of the founding fathers of Chilean independence, The Patriots comes from our good friends at the Luis Felipe Edwards estate in Chile’s Central Valley. It’s a juicy red, brimming with ripe black fruit, cherry and a touch of violet, followed by hints of vanilla and sweet spices. Delicious on its own, The Patriots is a great pairing with charcuterie, aged cheeses or grilled lamb.
