Great New Zealand Sauvignon is all about purity, aromatic freshness and vibrant tropical fruit. This great new find has an abundance of all those qualities. It comes from the Awatere Valley, known for its river and proximity to the coast and mountainous southern alps. All of which make for a perfect environment for growing pristine Sauvignon Blanc. The little cellar where this is made is also supplied by a loyal roster of 4th and 5th generation grape growers. Vibrant fresh aromas typical of the Awatere Valley. Succulent fruit balanced by lovely, subtle, flinty minerality. This is a seductively powerful and moreish wine with a beautifully understated elegance. Enjoy it solo or alongside steamed mussels in a creamy white wine sauce.
