As its name suggests, it comes from a landscape littered with ancient boulders and dinosaur fossils. A gorgeous blend of local and international grapes, where Touriga Nacional, the backbone of vintage port, joins forces with Syrah, Tinta Roriz and Alicante to produce mammoth, rich fruit flavours. Equally impressive is the family-owned winery, which was awarded 'Best Producer of Portugal' at Germany's prestigious competitions, Mundus Vini 2021 and Berliner Wein Trophy 2020. Their credentials for making this rich, old-vine Portuguese red are second to none. Best decant and serve with a hearty casserole, at a barbecue or with firm cheeses.
