The Beer
The story of the Rebellion Brewery starts with two friends, Tim Coombes and Mark Gloyens. They attended school together in Marlow at a time when the sweet malt aromas from the local Wethered Brewery were a constant reminder that Marlow was an active brewing town. When the brewery closed its doors in 1987, Tim and Mark set out on a mission to revive Marlow's brewing tradition. And so Rebellion was born. Since then they have gone from strength to strength and their beers have a loyal following from local pubs and customers alike. Their 24 Carat delivers bright hoppy character with a good bitter kick, balanced beautifully with the sweetness of the malts. A lovely balance of tradition and modern hoppy style in this contemporary American Pale.
