Pink Duck Rosé 2024
Sam Trimboli has been making us fruit-filled Aussie wines that customers adore for nearly three decades. Now at his own cellar, he's made us the tangy-fresh Pink Duck. Made with the Montepulciano grape, it's crisp and zesty with bright cherry fruit.

The Story Behind the Bottle
Since the launch of the first Yarrunga Field white, Sam Trimboli has been delighting customers with his fabulous wines and winning awards. They don't call him 'Mr Medals' for nothing! It took him a while, but finally he’s set up his own family winery and, in our opinion, is producing even better wines. He has made us the dark, spicy Black Duck from Durif, and the White from Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio. But his Pink Duck looks to Italy for inspiration – Montepulciano, plus 2% Vermentino for extra lemony zip. Sam is of Italian heritage – his grandfather grew vines in Italy 90 years ago and his parents emigrated to Oz in 1967 – so this focus on Italy’s finest should be of no surprise. A pretty hue, lovely ripe fruit and zesty freshness.
