The Story Behind the Bottle
"

Puglia is a haven for rich, authentic red wines that seriously over-deliver for their price tag – as you’ll taste with Palumbo. Sumptuous and flavourful, it brims with vibrant red fruits.

It’s crafted by talented winemaker Leonardo Palumbo, whose family has a longstanding tradition of only putting their name on wines they’re truly proud of. In keeping with that tradition, Leonardo chose to put his own name on this wine.

Palumbo blends three of Puglia’s finest red grapes: Nero di Troia for its silky tannins and elegant peppery fruit, Negroamaro for deep colour, dark plum notes and structure, and Primitivo for damson hints and richness. Together, they make the perfect ensemble – lots of dark, juicy flavours with incredible ripeness and depth.

In the glass, look forward to oodles of ripe cherry, plum and damson fruit aromas. The palate is silky smooth, with vibrant red fruit flavours that lead to a long finish.

Palumbo is incredibly moreish on its own, but it’s even better when paired with grilled meats or a hearty veggie casserole.
