The Story Behind the Bottle
Oddbird is Sweden’s first producer of sparkling wine liberated from alcohol. It’s the mastermind of Moa Gürbüzer, who founded the business in 2013. Her desire was to make the question, “would you like your wine with or without alcohol” as common as “would you like your coffee with or without milk”. We wouldn’t quite go that far, but this is a very tasty choice of alcohol-free fizz. The Sparkling Rosé is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from southern France. Picked young, the grapes retain their aromas. The wine is then aged for twelve months before it is carefully de-alcoholised, ensuring the intensity and balance of the wine isn’t lost. Brimming with summer berries, citrus and apple, it's a vibrant, fruit-filled pink fizz.
