The Story Behind the Bottle
The Côtes de Gascogne appellation lies in southwest France and has for years been home to Cognac's rival, Armagnac. Then winemakers discovered that the region's key grape, Colombard, could also make terrific, fruity, lemony-fresh whites and their fortunes took off.
