Our old pal at Flagstone, Bruce Jack, called Gerhard Swart "the best winemaker I have ever met" – high praise indeed from someone with a lot of talent himself. With the 2010 General Smuts Trophy under Gerhard's young belt, a former Winemaker of the Year, 5 Stars from John Platter and many other impressive awards, it's perhaps of no surprise. Gerhard's thirst for knowledge means he's always looking to try something new and exciting – like Lobster Shack Sauvignon pink! For this wine, he's joined his talent with Chandre Dovey and together they've cool fermented pristine Sauvignon Blanc with a dash of Pinotage for colour and juicy fruit. Ideal as a glass to enjoy with friends, and perhaps a fresh lobster.
