Flavour Profile
If you love aromatic white wines, Lobo e Falcão Branco will reel you in from your very first sip. Crafted at Quinta do Casal Branca, a historic 17th-century estate owned by José Lobo de Vasconcelos, the wine is a tribute to José’s family history as royal falconers to the King of Portugal (‘Lobo’ means ‘wolf’, ‘falcão’ means ‘falcon’).
Head winemaker Joana Lopes blends native Portuguese grapes – Fernão Pires and Alvarinho – with Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat. These varieties thrive in sandy soils, ripening to perfection under the Portuguese sun.
Wonderfully expressive, expect juicy peach and orange blossom aromas, layered with bright tropical fruits, vanilla spice and a long, refreshing finish. A top match for spicy Asian or chicken dishes.
