Le C is the second wine of cult Pessac estate Les Carmes Haut-Brion, and it shows the same precision and flair. The 2021 is classically styled – cool, composed and quietly complex. Expect blackcurrant, pencil shavings and cedar smoke, with a touch of green pepper and fine tannins. It’s elegant and mineral, with great ageing potential and a savoury finish. A refined Bordeaux with real gravitas, awarded 95 points by Wine Advocate, founded by wine expert Robert Parker.
