Flavour Profile
Provence is the world epicentre for pale, sophisticated rosé wines that offer delicate citrus and summer berry flavours, and L’Art Provençal is a classic example of this style.
It’s no surprise that Provence makes exceptional rosé as the region has an ideal climate for refreshing pinks, with twice as much sunshine as London, yet relatively moderate temperatures even in the height of summer.
This delightful rosé is from the Breban family’s domaine, high in the hills of the Côte d’Azur. Their vineyards are surrounded by wooded hillsides and have a sunny south-facing aspect and well-drained soil to help keep the flavours concentrated. Rounded with savoury, subtle fruitiness this is an ideal rosé to enjoy with poached salmon, salt and pepper squid or on its own.
