Robert Parker described this appellation’s wines as “probably the world’s greatest white wine value”, while wine writer Hugh Johnson said “I can think of nothing more refreshing”. The region is the most westerly in the Loire, closest to the Atlantic, so its wines always seem to hint of the sea. You’ll taste that in this delicious Réserve white from 6th-generation winemaker Nicolas Bougrier, who added a portion of lees-aged wine for extra roundness and flavour.
