Flavour Profile
La Grace Blanc comes from a Premier Grand Cru Classé – the finest estates in all of Bordeaux. These top-tier châteaux were recognised as the best in the region in the original 1855 classification. Long famed for their sweet wines, Sauternes’ Grands Crus are increasingly making a name for their dry whites too. This is the fresh new side of Sauternes.
It’s a château renowned for the refinement of its wines, and you can certainly taste that finesse in this 100% Sauvignon Blanc. It has all the character and complexity of this great terroir, together with the expertise of the team behind the estate’s Grand Vin.
Look forward to elegant aromas of citrus fruit and peaches, with delicate floral notes. Wonderfully fresh with subtle minerality and a touch of grapefruit on the finish. And as you’d expect from a Bordeaux Blanc, it’s brilliantly versatile with food. Refreshing enough to enjoy solo, yet with the richness and texture to pair with scallops, oysters and even lightly spiced dishes.
