Kir-Yianni Assyrtiko 2025

If you’ve been on holiday to Greece, you’ve likely enjoyed a glass or two of Assyrtiko. With its steely freshness, green-apple fruit and citrusy zing, it’s a must have on any good taverna’s wine list. The Times called it “Greece’s answer to Chablis.”
Kir Yianni Assyrtiko is a cracking example from fifth-generation winemaker Stellios Boutaris. The wine is named after his father, Yiannis, one of the leading figures of modern Greek wine.
Crisp and stony-fresh, this fine Assyrtiko is great as a refreshing glass on its own, with your favourite seafood dishes or, of course, with a Greek salad.
