Together we have produced a small range of wines that champion little-known grape varieties, often on the verge of extinction. Both parties champion biodiversity and work with nature to create beautiful things. In this case, a wine from Bierzo in NW Spain, a region that specialises in Mencía. This grape makes wines at both ends of the spectrum – young and vibrant with bright red fruits, or from higher, lower yielding sites, more intense, with earthy weightier notes.
