Kew Gardens Albillo 2025
We're delighted to have joined forces with the internationally respected Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, home to the largest living plant collection on the planet. Together we have produced an exclusive range of wines that champion little-known grape varieties, like this floral and fresh white wine made from Spain’s almost-forgotten Albillo.
There’s little of it planted and most of that is grown along the banks of the river Pisuerga in Spain’s Castilla y León in small family vineyards known as majuelos. Winemaker Mark Nairn has picked the very best grapes to make with its notes of citrus and blossom. Six months lees-ageing has added to the wine’s roundness. A great white wine to serve with chicken dishes or creamy savoury pancakes.
Every bottle in the Kew Series range directly supports the vital work of the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew, with 10% of profits funding research and conservation.
