The Story Behind the Bottle
Joseph Drouhin is one of Burgundy’s most celebrated producers, with a history stretching back to 1880. A true family affair, it’s now in the hands of the fourth generation. 2023 was a seductive vintage that’s delicious in its youth but with great potential for ageing. “Dark berries and ripe strawberries on the nose, but there’s also freshness and light spice, such as cloves. Violets, as well. Medium-bodied with a beautiful texture and finesse. So creamy and velvety, yet always reserved and pretty” 94 points, James Suckling.
