The Spirit
Flora Adora is the exquisite new-release gin from Hendrick’s. The picturesque distillery – known as the Hendrick’s Gin Palace - lies in the Scottish seaside village of Girvan, Ayrshire. Master Distiller, Ms Leslie Gracie, uses two types of still to produce the gins. The Bennett steeps the wondrous botanicals in spirit overnight before distillation, while the Carter-Head gently steams them. Leslie was inspired to make this Flora Adora edition while watching the butterflies and bees at work in the Palace garden. She noticed how they were more drawn to certain flowers and it’s these sweet blooms that have been used to create this botanical blend. Delicious served in bowl-shaped cocktail glasses with ample ice, tonic and a slice of cucumber.
