This is a lusciously ripe white from the Descombe family, who established their estate in 1905. Five generations later, they’ve expanded their reach north to Chablis and south to the Rhône. This aromatic, lightly spiced Viognier hails from their original plot. Harvested at night for maximum aroma, cool-fermented, and aged for six months on its lees, it has it all – body, ripe fruit, roundness and fragrance with a gentle freshness. A deliciously different apéritif, it’s also spot on with white meats, seafood and creamy vegetarian dishes.
