The Story Behind the Bottle
The Dr. Loosen estate has been in the same family for over 200 years, with vines in some of Germany’s top-rated vineyards. Tucked away in far western Germany, the Mosel Valley’s steep, south-facing slopes offer the perfect conditions for Riesling. Plenty of sunshine, a cool climate and slate soils help the grapes ripen slowly, building flavour while keeping that signature bright acidity. This dry Riesling is made from older vines and fermented in stainless steel to lock in all that racy freshness.
