This is a delicious new find from a small cellar in Aix-en-Provence, next door to where neoclassical painter François-Marius Granet lived. The grapes are from Jean-Didier’s vineyard where Mediterranean olive trees overlook the vines, and the finest Provence varieties, Grenache and Syrah, are night-harvested and hand-picked for an elegant rosé. Subtle berry fruit with a classic savoury edge and bright lemony zip – this wine is delightful on its own or with seafood or lighter vegetarian dishes.
