Champagne from small family estates provides superb quality and excellent value. We're delighted to champion the great classic fizz of Cyril and Frédéric Gyéjacquot. Their father, Michel, founded the estate with his brother, Daniel, in 1970, and started to build up their vineyards. They now span seven villages and nurture the three main varieties – Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier – also with, unusually, a little Pinot Blanc. Collection Blanche is a luxurious blend of mostly Chardonnay for its bright citrusy fruit and minerality and a touch, unusually, of Pinot Blanc. Lees aged for nearly two years and enriched with reserve wine, this is a long, complex fizz. Chill down and enjoy at your next celebration.
