The grapes are grown close to Lake Balaton in Hungary’s Etyek Buda, a subregion of Dunántúli, which boasts a climate perfect for elegant white wines. Indeed, the area used to provide wines for the Russian Imperial court and still shows its regal credentials when it comes to great Chardonnay. This wine bears all the grape’s classic hallmarks, with ripe pear and peach notes balanced by a crisp freshness. Enjoy solo or with chicken, salmon or creamy pasta dishes.
