Artumes 2023
From a grand estate first planted in 1680, comes this fine Tuscan white. Using native Trebbiano grown on limestone soils for freshness, plus, unusually, the French grape Petit Manseng, it’s an intense, crisp white with pear fruit and floral aromas.

The Story Behind the Bottle
The Etruscans were the first to discover how good the wines from this part of Tuscany were. Then the Medici family favoured it for hunting and in 1596 built an impressive lodge, around which lie 70 hectares of vines – an estate called Tenuta di Artimino. The property was bought by Guissepe Olmo in 1980, a world renowned athlete who in 1935 set an international record for cycling. He turned his passionate for sport towards the land and today the family make wines from fine DOCG reds to innovative, rule-breaking IGTs like Artumes. Made from 70% Trebbiano and, unusually, 30% Petit Manseng (a grape from southwest France) grown on part limestone soils, it has an intense freshness with floral and herbal aromas. A perfect partner to fish.
