Amandla is a bold, new enterprise founded by the Dynasty Trust. It is run the whole way through – from growing the grapes, to winemaking, marketing, logistics right to the consumer – by an all-black, all-female team. A first for South Africa. They are charged with youthful energy and a ‘can-do’ state of mind. As they say themselves “we are changing the game! We are bold and passionate. We are black and female and we bring you Amandla!” They are 100% committed to community too, with bursaries supporting female education and further education for children. Heading up the enterprise and the winemaking is the highly talented Praisy Dlamini. Enjoy their super-charged Chenin Blanc – so zesty, fresh and fruity –on its own or with food.
