Here, vineyards are moderated by cooling Atlantic breezes, helping grapes to ripen slowly and evenly. The result? Expressive fruit with great levels of freshness and flavour complexity. José blends native varieties – Fernão Pires, Moscatel and Arinto – with a rare-for-Portugal portion of Marsanne. Expect ripe melon and blossom aromas, with apple, pear and citrus flavours. A lovely glass on its own, or served with seafood, chicken and salads.
