The Story Behind the Bottle
Situated in southern Italy’s Puglia, Cantine Due Palme is the great cellar behind customer favourite Pillastro, as well as their flagship red Selvarossa Riserva. Altestelle, however, is a new venture for them into sparkling wine – truly delicious and refreshing. Still using their favoured Negroamaro grape that thrives so well in their Salento vineyards, they’ve quickly taken the juice off its skins (so it stays white) and vinified it. The wine then goes through a secondary fermentation to create the bubbles. Chill it down then enjoy it on its own or with light dishes.
