A juicy, fruity, aromatic white from Gerhard Swart – one of the youngest winemakers ever to win the coveted General Smuts Trophy and 5 Stars from John Platter. He may be known as 'King of Pinotage' but he's also a master with this fruit filled white.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.
But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

The Wine
Gerhard Swart, the winemaker behind this glorious white, is an immensely impressive guy. He manages a series of major wine brands (that you've likely heard of) and is on the road at 5am every morning checking his grower mates are on track to nail the harvest. With the General Smuts Trophy under Gerhard's young belt in 2010, Winemaker of the Year in 2017 and many other impressive awards, it's perhaps of no surprise our old pal at Flagstone, Bruce Jack, called him "the best winemaker I have ever met". High praised indeed from someone like Bruce. You can taste all that talent in this dazzlingly fresh and fruity white. A rich, zesty blend of Chardonnay, Chenin and aromatic Viognier, it’s spot on with shellfish, and best of all with lobster.
