It lies in McLaren Vale, known for its rich, very classy Shiraz and many other varieties besides. But from time to time, even famous names like this producer need to move stock quickly. So, they got in touch with our man Down Under and offered him a small parcel of their rich, chocolatey Shiraz for well below the going rate. A sample from cask confirmed his hunch that this fruit packed, dense red wastoo good to miss. It’s delicious now but will age beautifully over the next few years (if you can resist!). An Aussie classic at a great deal price, made for full flavoured dishes.
