Jacques and Christophe Lanson run the small family domaine and are fully signed up to sustainable practices of Terra Vitis and HVE. By respecting nature, they believe they get the very most from their vineyards. For this superb Fleurie, the vines are on average 50 years old, planted on the prized granite soil of Beaujolais's cru villages, with a sandy top soil. These ensures small yields (around 38 hl/ha) and lovely concentration in the wine. The brothers do a mixture of whole cluster and destalked berries fermentation to ensure intense fruitiness, as well the depth and structure that enable their fine wines to age. Such care and dedication has resulted in much praise for their wines. Still fresh, enjoy with sea bass or roast chicken.
