Six generations of the Louw family have tended Diemersdal vines. It's perfect Sauvignon Blanc territory, with cool mists rolling in from the Atlantic to accentuate Sauvignon's aromatics. Their Reserve is from their highest vines, pure and citrusy.

Grapes have been grown here at Diemersdal since 1702. Close to the ocean, their vineyards benefit from cooling breezes from the Atlantic, as well as the morning sea mists that roll in. It's perfect for fine Sauvignon Blanc, their speciality grape. Their Reserve Sauvignon comes exclusively from their highest block vineyard, planted on granite and clay soils, with views out across Table Mountain and False Bay. In summer it's cooled by south easter winds, so the climate remains temperate, all adding up to a top spot for Sauvignon Blanc. Aged on its lees for five months, this white is brilliantly fresh, yet with a creaminess too. Delicious on its own, and equally lovely with a whole range of seafood dishes - from grilled fish to spiced prawns.
