Bring on this lively charmer, made at the Cave du Perréon – a well established cellar in 18th century buildings constructed by the eponymous Baron de la Vauxonne. It belongs to the Alliance des Vignerons du Beaujolais, and uses grapes from 150 small-time growers across the region. This appetising pink is made from Gamay grown on the region’s classic granite soils. These lend a finesse and elegance to this wine’s perfumed fruit. Chill down and pour a glass.
