Renegade West Coast Pale Ale (33cl) NV

The West Berkshire Brewery isn’t far from our Theale HQ and their ‘Good Old Boy’ is the Friday lunchtime tipple of choice for many of our staff. So when they told us they were starting the Renegade Brewery to make modern craft beers, we were excited to taste the results. We certainly weren’t disappointed and you won’t be either when you taste their West Coast Pale Ale. It’s a testament to head brewer Will Twomey’s love of hoppy pale ales, made using a blend of four American hops. He describes it as “a big, fat hop bomb of a beer” and it’s certainly that. An initial attack of hoppy citrus gives way to a pleasingly bitter grapefruit finish. Try it with macaroni cheese made with Stilton or just enjoy it on its own. Presented in 330ml bottles.
