The fruit comes from a few specific rows within fifth-generation growers Deb and Matt Poole’s ancient Barossa vineyard. Hand picked, long macerated on the skins, hand plunged and long aged in oak – it has all the credentials. And not just any oak either – wood from cold North America, so it’s tightly grained for structure and vanilla scents. It's named after a monstrous wolf in Norse mythology - the top dog! It’s worth guarding this red as fiercely as Fenrir would. Thankfully the wine's more friendly. Built to age.
