The Spirit
In 1840, Pimm’s was born in London when James Pimm blended the secret recipe to help digesting oysters at his London Oyster bar. Pimm’s popularity spread, it was sent to soldiers in the far edges of the British Empire and was served at Queen Victoria’s lunches. Fast-forward to 1971 where it debuted at Wimbledon and its iconic status was sealed. When Pimm’s o’clock arrives, you know British summertime has begun! Mixed with lemonade, it is deliciously fruity and refreshing. Why not get creative by adding some sparkling wine, or even use Pimm’s to give your trifle a kick?
