The Wine
Pigassou sums up everything rural, laidback and French. Relaxed lunches in the warm Mediterranean sunshine, that stretch well into the afternoon. Appealing, easy drinking wine only helps the atmosphere. You've experienced it with our velvety, soft fruit red version. Now enjoy the same insouciance with its sibling white. Winemaker Sylvain Delabre knows all the local growers very well and uses a selection of traditional grapes, the varieties that have been around for centuries, to make up this white. Locals Marsanne, Macabeu, Vermentino and Grenache Blanc, it hits just the right note of weight and freshness. Chill the bottle down, lay out your picnic and enjoy. It'll go with most things and is very refreshing to sip to on its own.
