Alsace is possibly France’s sunniest wine growing region, renowned for its noble Gewurz – a deliciously different grape that we urge you to try. From a 300-year-old winemaking family, this white is exotic and spiced, elegant and aromatic too.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

The Wine
Pop open a bottle of Pierre Brecht and you'll be struck by the heady, unmistakable aromas of a classic Alsatian Gewurztraminer – rose petal, lychee and honeysuckle. The Pierre Brecht range is from the three-century-old Gisselbrecht family, this offshoot established by the youngest generation, brothers Philippe and Claude. They wanted to focus on producing small batches of high quality wines crafted from the finest fruit, using traditional techniques alongside state-of-the-art equipment. A long, slow, cool fermentation ensures lots of pure fruit character whilst retaining freshness. Superb by itself, particularly on a sunny day in the garden, or it makes a superb accompaniment to Asian cuisine. Go on give it ago, you'll be back for more!

Simply superb. We’ve always resisted giving 5 stars, but this time we had to!
