Named ‘Pfalz Discovery of the Year 2017’ by Germany’s Wein magazine, Oliver Zeter is an exciting new German winemaker. He was an importer first, but was converted to winemaking during a visit to the Cape. His Riesling is crisp, dry and lime-zipped.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.
But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

The Wine
Oliver Zeter was born into a family of wine importers, and at first he too followed the family trade. But a trip to South Africa saw Oliver fall in love with the elegance and vivacity of Sauvignon Blanc and with the role of winemaker. He returned to the Pfalz and persuaded his cousins to hand over four hectares of vineyards, and so his estate began. There he has planted Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier (he likes to “swim against the current”), Riesling and Pinot Noir. And right from the get-go – 2007 – he has won awards. His aim is to produce wines that “dance the tightrope between the styles of the New and Old Worlds”. Made from two of his best parcels of Riesling (19 to 30 years old), this is a truly refreshing white. Crisp, dry and citrusy.

Oliver Zeter’s done it again. He’s put out a collection that we can’t help but salute. Gladly!
