Sofia Barbanera is an exceptional and pioneering winemaker at her family’s beautiful estate. Surrounded by some of the region’s most famous cellars, Sofia works hard to impress. With a whopping 96 points from top critic Luca Maroni for this rare Sangiovese white she's certainly achieved her goal. Yet, at the end of the day, it’s really your 5-star reviews that mean the most to Sofia. Knowing her customer’s love for Tuscany’s brightest star, Sangiovese, Sofia took it for a spin. Her creation - a dazzlingly fresh white! Personally selecting plots, she gave the grapes the gentlest pressing to ensure a light wine with quince and citrus aromas. Yet it retains the sour cherry hallmark of Sangiovese. Deliciously different and spot on with risotto.
